FAQ
(1) TGEF(Effective Ground temperature) included in the monthly-mean two-dimentional data (sfc_avr_mon_XXX_yyyymm.grib) is regarded as SST over the ocean grids. The ocean grids are identified with ratio of less than 0.45 in TopogRatiol_gsmuv_TL319 data file.
